What do we do?
Our philosophy
We believe in the need of this space both because it is conceived as a place of respect and free of judgments towards diversities and because of the experience we have -personal and academic- in those exclusive realities and experiences that occur within the LGTB+ community.
Being lesbian, gay, trans*, bisexual or intersex In the world in which we live, it is accompanied not only by an experience of certain rejection - more implicit or more explicit - but also by a series of psychological and cultural adjustments to it that generate exclusive experiences, behaviors, emotions and thoughts.
Our training is not exclusive in LGTB+ psychotherapy; All therapists are trained in humanistic-relational approaches of psychology and family therapy. To us, belonging to the LGTB+ community defines people, usually and sadly, beyond the preferences and feelings of each person, but it is still only a part -in relation to the others- of what we are and it is in the whole self of each person where we focus.
